Unblok methods
Unblok can be used in various activating working methods. Many work forms originate from design methods and Design Thinking that have successfully found their way into regular work processes. We've highlighted six of the most commonly used methods, but you can of course apply it however you see fit. Using Unblok requires little prior knowledge and therefore offers a lot of room for your own creativity. Watch the (video) explanation below on how to get the most out of every work method with Unblok.
Brainstorm
A brainstorm is a creative method to generate new ideas and insights within a project or issue. A brainstorming session creates a lot of energy because you unravel new surprising perspectives around your challenge. There are many different brainstorming techniques. Unblok makes brainstorming tangible and accessible, because the illustrations serve as the first inspiration.
Scenario’s
Scenario is a method to devise different future directions of an organization, product or project. By creating different scenarios you can prepare yourself for possible future events and plan how to handle them. Working out scenarios with Unblok makes bundling knowledge of multi-disciplinary teams clear and leads to joint conclusions.
User journey
A user journey (also known as user journey) aims to visualize the experiences a person has when contacting a product or service. Whereas traditional user journeys often emphasize the product, Unblok makes it possible to approach the outcome of the session mainly from a human perspective. This yields valuable insights that ultimately lead to better products or services.
Stakeholder mapping
With a stakeholder map you provide a visual overview of all stakeholders of a product or project. The goal is to map all the people who have influence with their needs and how everyone is connected. With Unblok you create a complete overview of all human needs and how they relate to the goals of your product or project.
Vision determination
With a product or company vision, it is important that your (idealistic) view of the world comes together with what your company stands for. Determining a vision provides direction for the future and focus to set short-term goals. Unblok helps by first creating a visual representation from an ideal image, after which framing insights and setting goals goes almost automatically.
Evaluation and reflection
Evaluations are analytical processes on the value of achieved results. To reflect is to look back on your own actions and experiences. In both cases you want to make new qualitative choices based on the acquired knowledge. With Unblok you bring stories to life and make parts of knowledge and thoughts tangible. In this way, everyone's insights are put on the table, after which conclusions can be drawn for the future.
